Guide

Hey, this is Dark Light here but you can just call me Darky. Sorry if I misspelled anything because I am not the best speller. Today I am introducing a lavaloon deck that got me all the way up to 3.5K trophies and is also used by top players in the ladder. This deck's main way of dealing damage is through the balloon. The lava hound will tank for the balloon while the balloon will hit the tower. This deck's only ground troop is the skeleton, but this deck is more about building pushes then countering them, judging it's expensive elixir cost. Make sure to check me out in Clash Royale, btw my username is Dark Light and my clan is called Redline at 33,000 trophies. Sadly, there is no replacement for the lava hound so if you don't have it you won't be able to use this deck but it is unlocked in Arena 4 unlike others like the Lumberjack.

These are the functions for each cards:

Mega Minion/Baby Dragon: These are the main support cards in this deck, so they are usually placed behind a lava hound but are also used on defense. Replacements: Mega Minion/Baby Dragon for Minions.

Skeletons: These are used to cycle to your lava hound quicker so you can start pushing earlier. No replacements.

Fireball/Zap: Used to kill pesky air targeting troops like the musketeer, witch, wizard etc. Also can be used to reset sparky and inferno tower. Replacements: Fireball for Lightning, Zap for Arrows/Log.

Elixir Collector: Usually played in the beginning of the match to gain elixir faster than your opponent since this deck is 4.1, also can be used to distract troops that target buildings only. No replacements.

Lava Hound: The main tanker which allows the balloon to "hide" behind the lava hound without getting targeted by the tower and other troops. The lava hound is also very important because it baits the opponent into playing an air targeting troop and before he realizes, the balloon is placed and he no longer has anything to counter the balloon. No replacements.

Balloon: The troop that will absolutely destroy your opponent's tower. If played correctly this card can be devastating because it deals nearly 800 damage per hit at lvl 4, not mentioning his after death damage. This card will usually be placed right behind the lava hound. No replacements.

Currently my card levels are:

Lvl 10 Zap

Lvl 9 Skeletons

Lvl 7 Elixir Collector

Lvl 7 Fireball

Lvl 6 Mega Minion

Lvl 4 Ballon

Lvl 4 Baby Dragon

Lvl 2 Lava Hound

I would recommend upgrading more the Fireball - (so it can 1 shot musk, wiz, witch etc.) and Balloon - (so you can deal more damage on tower.). The rest doesn't really matter as long as they are:

Commons: Lvl 8+

Rares: Lvl 6+

Epics: Lvl 3+

Legendaries (obviously): Lvl 1+

It looks good, I think it is a bit too expensive, I use a 3.9 lavaloon deck.
