Hey guys, DONK3Y here with my first deck guide, a lava hound-inferno dragon deck for arenas 4 and up.
This deck combines the tanky nature of the Lava Hound and the devestating damage of the Inferno Dragon to create an unstoppable force. Not only this but all of the other cards serve as great all-round defensive units which can also counter attack.
Lava Hound- Being one of the most crucial cards in the deck, it is hard to switch up, however if you are looking for a cheaper deck or simply don't have the card, use a GIant instead
Inferno Dragon- This card is very important, if you dont have it, use a Balloon instead
Minions- Swap out for Archers, Spear Goblins or Mega Minion
Arrows- Switch for The Log or Zap
Lightning- It is exremely useful, however if you dont have it you can use either Rocket or Fireball
Skeleton Army- If yours isnt high level enough, use Goblin Gang instead
Valkyrie- Ice Golem could also work well in its position
Tombstone- Knight could be useful instead for taking out Graveyards
At the start of the game, if you have Lava Hound in rotation, place in back corner and cuild up an army behind it. If you don't have it then simply defend or cycle. For attacks you want to have at least one, ideally two strong cards behind the Lava Hound such as an inferno dragon and minions, if they destroy your push and create a counter offensive simply use a lightning spell to take out their troops, coupled with a Valkyrie. If they are using a beatdown deck or Hog-Rider cycle deck, just use your tombstone, skeleton army and minions to defend. If they have splash units behind tanks, then use a lightning spell to take them out. In double elixir keep the pushes going as much as possible and try to make positive trades with the Lightning spell.
Tactics By Card
Lava Hound- Always place in back corner so that she will ignore 4-2 placed buildings
Inferno dragon- Destroys tanks and annihalates towers within seconds
Minions- Great at fighting balloons and destroying gound troops. Can also suppport pushes
Arrows- Destroys hordes and can finish off extremely low health towers
Lightning- Make positive trades and kill support units
Valkyrie- Kill Witches, Wizards, Skeleton Army and hordes. good for counter pushes
Tombstone- Distract Royal Giant, Giant, Hog Rider, Prince, Mini Pekka, Pekka and the list goes on
Skeleton army- Serves the same purpose as tombstone incase they zap it or cycle quickly
It has no weaknesses as long as you play it correctly as described.
